The Novarad SnapView® mobile application offers a streamlined approach to incorporating non-DICOM files into an existing image management workflow. Designed for healthcare professionals, it enables the use of supported iOS devices to capture images efficiently while ensuring the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI).

Users can initially scan patient identification wristbands, followed by capturing the relevant images. These image files are transmitted directly from the device to the Ncompass Universal Archive, bypassing local storage and maintaining data security throughout the process.

Managing non-DICOM images across a healthcare enterprise often presents integration challenges. SnapView simplifies this process, allowing for centralized management of all patient images while adhering to strict privacy standards.

Notably, SnapView is compliant with HIPAA regulations and does not store patient information locally on the device, enhancing data security.
